KTL Farm ... Work in Progress 8

There is no update last week due to Holiday Season.
Here come the update for the last 2 weeks.

First on the Goat Barn, The Fencing surround the Barn is done, now the focus is on the Design and Layout of the Compartment. There are many different size of the compartment used for different stages of the Goat breeding.










































Second, on the Napier Grass; those plant at the Swamp area is growing much faster compare to those on the hillside (more water and fertilizer is needed).




























Lastly, Another Entrance Gate is completed too.

This week the BPM visit had been postponed and we had visited the Branch Manager in Muar instead on 11-Dec-07.

Also, we are pleased to welcome the visit by Mr. Angus from Cluny, NSW Australia on 15-16 Dec 07.


Mr. Angus is impressed by the Breezing surrounding of the site.

Visit LTP Prudence Farm, Malacca

We had visited the LTP Prudence Farm in Malacca on 11-Dec-07.

This week, Segamat is hit by heavy rain fall and cause flood is various area in Segamat.
The Goat Barn construction work had been force to stop few day due to the heavy rain and flood in kg Tunku Tiga.

However, the construction work need to catch up ASAP as the expectation of BPM & JPH visit on 11-Dec-2007.

This week we checked on the Napier Grass, Extend the Worker Hostel & Toilet to receive new napalist workers. Also, to speed up the Goat Barn Construction in preparation for the BPM & JPH visit on the coming week.

This week, we had completed the water supply which include the piping and meter installation.

And for the Goat Barn Construction status, 3 Beams had completed and the iron works had started too with the erection of the main iron pole to support the roof-top.

Focus this week is on the Goat Barn. The Overall Spec of this Barn is 300' x 70' or 21,000 sq ft. Enough to house about 2,500 heads of Boer Goat.
